These paintings are created using a technique I adapted from “Serti,” the French method of painting on silk. As the style my technique produces looks much like watercolor, I call it “aquarelle” on silk. I enjoyed the challenge of this beautiful, yet exacting technique for many years and love the luminescent effect it produces, but it is now a closed chapter in my career as an artist.
